The harvest, which takes
place between the end of August and early October, is a joyful period for us as well as
being of crucial importance, because it
marks the conclusion of our year’s work.
The machines for mechanical harvesting
are only used in those vineyards destined
for the production of the bulk wine and
for the “Borgo dei Vassalli” line. We
decided to continue picking the
grapes
for the “Feudi” range by
hand as it
is often necessary to
select only
the best quality fruit
during the
harvest and also
because this is
a tradition we do
not want to lose.
