  The Cru: two ways

of drinking Lorenzon.

AlfiereI Feudi di Romans A crù born from the awareness of having to respect the earth. An area with a high fertility level which needs to be irrigated in the summer months as it rests on a gravelly subsoil, a compact mass due to the presence of clay which the Isonzo river has eroded from the hills of the Collio. Selected clones, 4,000 vines per hectare, wood palification and drip irrigation carried out on the whole area, unilateral Guyot and
grass planting. Tradition and innovation. 50 hectares of
                        vineyard.
A bottle which reflects the spirit of a family wine
company that respects the simplicity and
humility of the value of the vineyard,
                     which brings elegance to every
                        table made more precious by
                          the genuineness and originality
                           of every wine. Simplicity,
                           humility, elegance, genuineness                            and originality.

Lorenzon A process of renewal                     which has involved the entire          company from the beginning of the 1990’s. From the experience of the “Feudi di Romàns” crù a model for wine-growing has been developed. A model that during the same time was followed for the replanting of 30 hectares in Cassegliano, the crù LORENZON VINEYARDterreno in honour of Severino Lorenzon who rendered this otherwise uncultivated and abandoned land productive. A crù which reflects the company philosophy with wines dedicated to the land, to the men who know how to understand and love it, to the consumers who interpret the wine as a game of charming and intriguing flavours.
